Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks like you are on the water thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin Tank technology. This unique system easily lets you adjust the resistance of the water at any time using the dial.
A Fluid Rower’s water tank consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is the ‘passive tank’ or storage tank, while the outer tank is the ‘active tank’ or resistance tank. If you select a higher resistance with the dial while rowing, the water is moved from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you experience more resistance after a few rowing strokes.
If you choose a lower resistance, the water is siphoned from the active tank back to the passive tank so you experience less resistance after a few strokes.
Each Fluid Rower Twink Tank is equipped with a dial that allows you to easily adjust the resistance. This makes the rower suitable for all training levels. Whether you’re going for a light cardio workout or a high-intensity workout, it can all be done on the same rowing machine.
You experience fast and smooth resistance adjustment while you exercise, and never have to determine the water amount in the tank in advance.
With most other rowing trainers with water resistance, people experience uneven resistance. This is because there is hardly any resistance at the start of each rowing stroke, a spike occurs right in the middle and the resistance disappears again at the end. Fluid Rowers have an ‘instant catch’ thanks to a modification in the blade of the water tank. This means that resistance is felt continuously with every rowing stroke, from start to finish.
I. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected and refined down to the last detail: if the water limit is not exceeded, the tank never leaks. Not even if you place it upright.
II. The V Twin Tank offering 15% more resistance than a regular Twin Tank. It also connects the water resistance dial to the Bluetooth Monitor via a sensor.
III.The XL has a larger water capacity than the regular Twin Tank, offering a staggering 65% more resistance. It also connects the water resistance dial to the Bluetooth Monitor via a sensor.
IV. Vertically placed Twin Tanks effectively move the water via a nine-blade stainless steel impeller, adding extra resistance. Additionally, the unique design causes the water to naturally flow downward, further enhancing the resistance due to gravity.
